PACKET PICKUP: Setup & hand out race packets, swag bags and race t-shirts to pre-registered athletes. Must present ID.
ONSITE REGISTRATION: Assist in registering runners the day of the 5K.
CHECK-IN: Assist with checking in volunteers.
COURSE MONITOR: This position requires volunteers to stand and walk for an extended period of time, must be assertive and vocal. VolunBEERS will be positioned at strategic locations on the racecourse and direct runners as needed, watch for safety issues, cheer runners to victory and have fun!
SWIG STATION: Setup swig station, hand out water and beer, keep the course free of debris and clean up the area after the race concludes. More specific instructions will be provided by coordinator. Must be TABC Certified.
AWARDS: Setup award station and hand out medals to top finishers.
FOOD/SNACK STATION: Set-up, maintain, hand out snacks to runners.
MILE MARKER: VolunBEERS must be assertive and vocal. You will be positioned at each mile with a stop watch and will shout out live race times to runners along the race course.
